Controller-CPG/Manufacturing-Monterey County Seeking an experienced Controller to join this Monterey-based team. Responsibilities- Oversee all financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Manage and monitor accounting systems, including ERP systems, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, as well as report variances.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and manage the compliance processes.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain and improve financial controls and procedures.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support to the organization.
Qualifications- Master's degree in Accounting and/or CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in ERP systems is essential.
- Strong Excel skills are required.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Work HoursMonday - Friday BenefitsThe position offers a competitive salary range from $125,000 to $155,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional DetailsThis role is a supervisory position, requiring the ability to manage and lead a team effectively. It is a 100% on-site position in Monterey.
