As an Operations Architect supporting CMS, you will be trusted to serve as a senior individualcontributor expert responsible for designing, optimizing, and stabilizing operational processes within one or more programs. You will bring deep functional expertise in operations, handson integration and data conversion knowledge, and a strong track record supporting complex production environments to improve operational performance, reduce risk, and ensure the reliability of operational processes. You will need to possess a Consultant Mindset, demonstrate the ability to see the bigger picture, analyze complex problems to design actionable solutions, drive user adoption and champion continuous improvement. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Designing and optimizing operational architectures, systems, and data flows.
• Developing functional workflows, integration designs, and data conversion strategies across the various teams within a program.
• Translating business requirements into clear functional specifications and solution designs aligned with organizational goals.
• Supporting endtoend SDLC activities, including requirements gathering, design, testing, defect resolution, and production stabilization.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex operational issues across integrations, conversions, and other operational workflows.
• Executing and enhancing production operations and reporting workflows.
• Supporting the triaging and resolution of incidents for internal and external stakeholders.
• Building dashboards, metrics, and operational reporting using tools to provide transparency and inform leadership decisions.
• Collaborating with crossfunctional technical, data, and business teams to ensure reliable, efficient, and compliant system performance.
• Supporting system releases, cutover readiness, data validations, and postdeployment stabilization activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree and 10+ years of relevant hands-on experince.
• 7+ years of experince supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) programs.
• Expert experince gathering, documenting, and validating functional requirements across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Proficiency using PL/SQL, APIs, XML, and Power BI.
• Hands-on experince working with Salesforce for incident analysis and resolution and other operational-related processes.
• Handson experience designing and executing data conversions, integrations, and batch processing frameworks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Proficient with agile delivery workflows, JIRA, Confluence, and related SDLC tools.
• Experince identifying data quality issues, developing operational dashboards, and delivering datadriven insights.
• Experince supporting distributed data collection applications and external stakeholder operations.
• Understanding of cloudenabled operational architectures (e.g., AWS provisioning frameworks).
• Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Candidate must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• SAFe Certification, such as SAFe Practitioner.
• Detailoriented problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently, collaborate with diverse teams, and navigate complex systems to deliver stable, highquality outcomes.
