Exchange Engineer - TS/SCI

Our work depends on an Exchange Engineer joining our team to support Government activities in Sterling, V.A. or Annapolis Junction, M.D. At GDIT, we foster a people-focused and customer-centric environment in delivering Cybersecurity Engineering Services. As an Exchange Engineer supporting the Government, you will be trusted to provide support and engineer solutions for email and email retention systems to provide a roadmap for the Enterprise infrastructure. In this role, a typical day may include:Designing, implementing, integrating, and maintaining on and off premise Exchange SolutionsDeveloping system architecture and system design documentationProviding technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technologyIncorporating new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operationsGuiding system development and implementation planning through assessment and preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plansResponsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility WHAT YOULL NEED:Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a polygraphMust meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA SecurityBachelors Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certification or training, or work/military experienceExperience with Exchange Edge installations and managementExperience testing and vetting new hardware solutionsKnowledge of ATO and Project Management processes including experience in certifying products for use in production networksExperience with PowerShellExperience with Active DirectoryGDIT IS YOUR PLACEAt GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do.
