ServiceNow Developer / Administrator

We are currently seeking aServiceNow Developer / Administratorto join our team supporting theCenters for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). CMS has a strong focus on innovation, automation, and leveraging the full potential of the ServiceNow platform.This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in ServiceNow administration and some hands-ondevelopment experience who is ready to grow into more complex work. Your Impact As a ServiceNow Developer/Administrator, you will help maintain, enhance, and support the ServiceNow platform to ensure reliability, usability, and compliance with best practices. Key responsibilities include:Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and work with senior developers to resolve complex issues.Perform day-to-day administration ofservice requests onthe ServiceNow platform.Maintain CMDBand discoveryaccuracy through updates, reporting, and routine data quality reviews.Configure and develop basic to intermediate-level functionality using Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and Flow Designer.Assist in building simple integrations using Integration Hub or scripted REST APIs under the guidance of senior developers.Create and maintain clear technical documentation for configurations, updates, and small development tasks.Stay informed on ServiceNow platform updates and features.Identify opportunities to streamline administrative tasks and improve platform usability.Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in ServiceNow to recommend and implement innovative system improvements. Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates should have the following: 35+years of experiencesupporting or developing on the ServiceNow platform.Working knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting fundamentals. Hands-on experience with core platform components such as: Business Rules, UI Policies, Client ScriptsService Catalog and basic workflows/Flow DesignerCMDB fundamentalsAbility to troubleshoot issues logically and work collaboratively to solve problems. Strong communication and documentation skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Preferred Qualifications While not required, these qualifications are a plus: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. CertifiedSystem Administrator(CSA)certification. Additional ServiceNow certifications or micro-certifications (Flow Designer, Service Catalog, etc.). Familiarity with REST APIs and basic integration concepts. Understanding of ITIL concepts. Some experience with Performance Analytics, reporting, or Dashboard creation. Location: Remote Clearance Level: Requires the ability to pass a CMS background check and meet the residency requirement for having resided in the US at least (3) three out of the last (5) five years in order to obtain a Public Trust.
